no snow snow day

as i write this i am NOT completely snowed in on the couch looking at 5 inches of snow on the ground..but rather i am sitting on the couch looking at a dusting of snow that is quite pitiful. oh, how i love tennessee weather. just watch the news and whatever they say, its going to be the complete opposite! im so disappointed. i really really wanted lots of snow. schools started closing at like 2 yesterday! (which, yes janie, is quite ridiculous) i think thats why it didnt snow. everyone freaks out and they jinx it. mom didn't have to go to dayschool today, shes never had a snow day. she was ecstatic when they called it off! so here we sit. not making snow cream. not giggling at the pups as the pounce in the snow. and not catching snowflakes on our tounges. humph.

im kind of out of it today. i have the strangest rash all over my torso and arms. i've had it for about a week. it hurts terribly bad. im not on a new medicine, so we know its not that. im not using a new lotion, soap, or detergent, so its not that. so we just arent sure what it is. im taking benadryl around the clock, so im out of it. i have the blahs.

catherine is coming over for lunch..and we're going to play wii. and drink hot coco! and do all the fun snow day things on this no snow snow day!!!! we can pretend cant we?
