hey everyone!! im so sorry i have been MIA lately... my computer CRASHED last week. it was not a fun day. it came out of no where!! it was fine wednesday night, and then i woke up thursday morning to work on it and it wouldn't turn on. my nana has a friend that has worked on my laptop before, so i took it to him, and there was nothing he could do to save it. i think i have all of my pictures either on a disc, or on my camera. so i don't think i lost any of them, but im afraid i may have lost my music, im not sure yet. so, once again im sorry i haven't posted, and i wont be able to post as often as i usually do since i don't have a computer at arms length. so until i am able to get a new computer don't worry that im not posting, if something comes up and i need to let ya'll know ill find a computer to make post! ive been trying to save for a new laptop...trying. so when this happened last week it kind of made the need for one a little more urgent. mark {my good friend and youth minister at church} has had this idea to sort of help me save a little money for the computer. i have created a font out of my handwriting and made it available to you to purchase for use on your computer! since im not able to have a job it is hard to save money, and having the transplant in the near future it has made the need for one pretty important. since im going to be in a bed for the first few weeks and then at home basically all the time {besides dr appts}for 3 months after, im going to be posting a lot of blogs and doing a lot of work on the computer. mark has created a website to make the font available to you in exchange for donations. whether or not you are able to help, please stop by the site and check it out, and share the information with friends. its pretty cool to see my handwriting come out on the computer and be used for projects-its totally different from any microsoft font ive ever seen:)
as far as how im feeling-i think this new antibiotic is doing wonders!! i have felt great! and done great at rehab every day the past week! ive been able to do at least 30 minutes of cardio, and weights! this wednesday is my last appointment at rehab! yippee! im going to be able to go to the YMCA and continue my therapies. so i wont be sitting at home like a lump on a log until the transplant. im supposed to get my upper body really strong so i heal a lot faster. i guess ill be working on that at the Y.
anyway, nothing new really. im pretty excited about thanksgiving. family, friends, food, and decorating for christmas!!! oh how i love the holidays.
hopefully ill be able to get to a computer and post again this week.
thanks for being my prayer warriors. ill post again as soon as possible.
until then,
leigh allyn
