i found out why i wasn't able to comment on my (or anyones) post. it had to do with third party cookies. so if you are having troubles commenting make sure you enable third party cookies in your options or it wont let you comment. im so happy i figured out what the problem was, i was getting quite frustrated. anyway, glad this problem is solved.

for some reason i have not been able to make comments on my blog. i have gotten a few comments that i have tried to reply and answer to but blogger isn't letting me comment. i have no idea what is going on. so until i figure it out i guess i will reply to comments by making a post-inconvenient, i know. so... on my last post i got a comment from JB...

thank you so much for your advice! the new antibiotic i am on is called Doripenem. it is a fairly new drug. mom called home health this morning to see what they could do, if there was another way to infuse it. i am very lucky to have a great home health company. i have been using the same company for as long as i can remember- they are always willing to help out and make things as easy as possible for me. they told her they would call and see what they could find out about using the balls for the infusion. they checked into it, and i guess because the drug is so new they can't use the balls. but they brought an IV pump so we dont have to use the gravity bags. my main issue with the gravity bag was that it wasn't infusing fast enough so my cath was clotting off. it wont be so bad. you gotta do what you gotta do to get better- and for now this is what i gotta do. thanks again for your input, it always helps!
