im really not sure how thorough of a post this will be. im not sure if it will even make sense. but im posting anyway. so here goes.
today went well. i arrived at the cardiothoracic surgeons office at 8:45. {for those of you that dont know this is who will be doing the actual surgery} i was seen by dr. L by 9:30. i really really liked him. he came in sat down and wheeled his seat RIGHT next to me and said "so do you know why your CF doctors want you to get the transplant now?". then he said "okay, do you have any questions.?" then the rest of the appointment consisted of him asking me if i had questions and he answered them thoroughly. even the questions that i felt were dumb and small and didnt matter, he made me feel that it was a great question, it was an important question and he answered it. he was understanding. compassionate. professional. easy to talk to. calming. incredible. he made me feel so at ease with my decision. mom and i agreed the room was so calm. it wasn't uncomfortable or tense. it was all in all a great experience. if the evaluation is any indication as to how the transplant process will go i have no worries what so ever. i am so impressed with the transplant team and i cant wait to work even more with them.
tomorrow i will have one test at 3:45 and thats all. i finally get to sleep past 6:30. thank the Lord. speaking of, im off to bed.
im so sorry this post wasn't as involved as the others, but i dont think i missed anything.
ill post as soon as i have news.
until then,
