lingerie and bachelorettes

so first of all this weekend went totally without a hitch! friday and saturday we wrapped up all the planning and saturday night natalie's lingerie shower went amazing! we had the best time ever and from her constant smile the entire night i would have to say i think she was overwhelmed. it was so great to be with the girls we grew up together with {we all met in girlscouts in elementary school!}. this is our third summer wedding in a row! {07-allison, o8-emily, 09-nat} they say someone HAS to go next summer. im saying i know it wont be me! {unless, of course God has a better idea} cathy and catherine hosted the party and they did an absolutely amazing job-everything was beautiful. we had a "fiesta" theme, which included Moe's southwest grille catered and a "naughty pinata", & more....and of course lingerie for nat! we also had the cutest bustier cake made for her! the night was great, i don't think it could have gone any better! it was the first of many more fun wedding festivities....

on monday night i threw a "bachelorette season finale party". janie, nat, catherine, and jess all came. if you don't watch the Bachelorette then im sorry this next part of my blog may make no sense to you! we had toe polish painting with "mango mango {aka "Mango-get-em"}" by Loreal. in honor of Tanner P. we had hotdogs for dinner to represent Jillian's hotdog theory of men. and ringpops of your desired color to support your bachelor of choice. and we made signs to support our man! unfortunately jillian did NOT pick the man any of us wanted so we ended up mad at the end of the night {which seems to happen with every season we watch, but we continue to put ourselves through the show each time...maybe we'll learn someday- but i doubt it.}

rehab was awesome today; i had a great workout. i started weights today and also went to my first support group. i love the old people! they are hilarious. i have made new friends!! haha. i think the next 11 weeks is going to make me a better person in more ways than one. im going to try and see if i can get an extension and go even more than 12 weeks.

im finally getting a hold of my appetite and weight is going up. im using oxygen less and less- and i couldn't feel better!!!! life seems to have finally made a turn for the better. praise the Lord. i have a doctor's appt with CF after rehab on thursday. i can't wait to see how much weight i gained.
