Great Weekend!!!

Hello all!! wow i had an awesome weekend!!!! mom and dad left friday afternoon at 4 and i went to my nana's with natalie and she made us an amazing dinner! we visited with nan for a while, looked at pictures and then came home. at first i was just gonna stay here at home by myself over night-with my puppies. but nat asked if i wanted company and i declined at first, but decided eh why not, i haven't had a sleepover in i dunno when! so we came back to my place and watched Steel Magnolias and went to bed:) LOVE that movie. my favorite line is "I would rather have 30 minutes of wonderful than a lifetime of nuthin' special". so true! anyway so my saturday consisted of waking up to being bored to death- and ultimately deciding to go get my nails done. im so glad i did! it was a nice lil treat for myself that i haven't done in forever and it felt great! nat offered to spend the night again saturday and i thought nah you can sleep at home ill be fine...buuut i conceded and asked to her anyway;) it was just nice to have another set of eyes and ears here-that way if i "heard" something- and she didn't hear it- i knew i was hearing things & i wouldn't scare myself to death. haha! im such a baby. anyway, i felt GREAT all day saturday, no fever, no trouble breathing, no kidney pain, it was a goood day! this morning i woke up a little before 8 to hook up to one of my IV meds and i started coughing and COULD NOT stop coughing for an HOUR!!! i felt so bad for nat because she had another hour to sleep before her alarm went off and here i am HACKING away. she left at 9, so i did a treatment and ate breakfast, and by 11 i felt like crap. i checked my temp and it was 99.9 :( {so much for my great weekend i thought} so i layed back down and slept for 2 hours and when i got up i felt MUCH better. i picked my parents up at 2 and came home feeling sooo much better and i am soo happy they are home. {so are the puppies!!!} soooo here's where i stand....

tomorrow mom is drawing my blood-yet again- and we are taking it down to vandy-yet again. and while we're there i have an appt with the diabetes clinic to draw my blood {YAY getting stuck twice in one day!!! ugh.} for some tests to send to the "pump people". they have to have some sugar levels to determine whether i need one or not.
sooo tomorrow they are checking my kidney levels to make sure starting this second IV this weekend hasn't made the levels go back up.

I'll let ya'll know how things go and how my levels turn out!

~kidney levels have gone down, so i can stay on this second antibiotic
~insulin pump tests go through quickly so i can get this pump ASAP
~that i keep getting better and better
~also for my uncle troy and his fam; they have 2 boys and recently had a new baby girl, aunt tanya recently had surgery to remove some tumors, and troy was laid off two weeks ago. so pray he can find a new job soon!
