to Oma's house they gooooo......this past weekend was filled with christmas cheer. friday night the 20s something class at church had a Christmas Movie Marathon. It started at 6:30 that evening and went until 5:30 Saturday morning. i left at 9:45, because i had to hook up to my IVs, but also because i'm an old woman and wanted to go to bed early. i had a great time though! saturday morning mom and i went to a christmas breakfast at church. then we rested all day saturday. that evening we went to janies graduation party. she graduated from MTSU this weekend-congrats!!!:) sunday after church the M and B came home with us and we started building their new gingerbread house and watched christmas movies. the girls went to church with us sunday night and then spent the night! nat and andrew came over sunday evening to watch the survivor finale (YAY!) and we all laughed at madison and bridgettes antics. we tried to get their picture in front of the new fireplace but they (B) wouldn't cooperate. we did the best we could. we finished the gingerbread house monday morning then we sent them packin home! haha, not really. mom and i had kind of a stressful monday, but we were able to get our hair cut and squeezed in a little shopping. my friend andrea came over monday night and brought her yorkie bitzi, to play with Bo. well, that didn't go so well. bitzi was NOT in the mood to play. bless her heart. she was tired and maybe a little irritable, and Bo was super enthused to have a new play mate. but she was NOT having it. she ended up sleeping on the couch most of the time, occasionally getting up to tease Bo. maybe next time, Bitzi. andrea, mom, and i had a great time though! i could have stayed up all night talking! today mom finished the shopping, and dad and i wrapped it up tonight. mom & i have a few things to get tomorrow and im done! the past few days have been great! im sooo looking forward to christmas. i cant wait to be with my family.
here are a few pictures to sum up the past few days....hope you enjoy them as much as i did taking em!

~a really good friend of my family that we used to attend church with just received terrible news. Ansley, their two and a half year old girl was admitted to ICU, monday i believe, and tumors were found all through her body. they did a biopsy today, and found they were malignant. she is starting chemo immediately. Amy (her mom) was so good to me as i grew up. the whole family is so sweet. Amy and her husband just had another baby 8 weeks ago. This is a very difficult time for them, being 2 days before christmas and having a newborn baby at home. PLEASE PLEASE pray for this famliy. They need lifting up.
