enjoyable weekend

i had a fantastic weekend!!! even though we cancelled bridgettes birthday early last week that was supposed to be saturday bc of the impending rain, it was still a great weekend. friday we went and had pizza with the girls and aaron and kristina. then we came back to the house and had cupcakes! they stayed for a little while then i met natalie and jessica for dinner at olive garden!! yummo! we came back to my house and played a new game we found- bananagrams!! hard to explain it-found it at target! saturday we just lounged around and the girls came over again saturday night to watch harpers island!! i love having allll my girls back in town. mothers day was just a laid back kinda day. we had lunch with aaron and kristina at home; we gave mom her presents {me and dad got her two plants, a hanging fern and a calililly that is beautiful! and the girls got her a new book she had been wanting! she was very excited about all her gifts} we stopped by nana's for a few minutes to say hi. we also went to janies for a a little bit to drop something off and stayed a little bit to talk. which is always enjoyable:) it was a great mothers day!

i had yet another dr appt today...not with CF. thankfully- i guess. but with urology. i had to be in radiology at 9A to have an xray of my kidneys and an ultrasound. wooohooo. we got there at 8:45. by the time we finished in radiology it was 10:15. we got to the urology clinic and the waiting room was standing room only! yes, i said it- standing room only! ridiculous. we heard a lady say she had been there for an hour and a half waiting! luckily dr h wasnt too backed up, we only waited for about 30 minutes and we left vanderbilt about 12. dr h said the ultrasound found 7 stones in all!! 2 on my right side, 5 on my left! he said its not really necessary to do anything now. its not worth risking my other circumstances where they are to get them out. i just need to drink a lot of water and lemonade. (the citric acid makes the stones shrink and get rid of the calcium deposits) thats it. thats what we waited 4 hours for.
