post of pictures

today has been kind of a lay around and do absolutely nothing day. i did clean and organize my art desk but thats as far as productive action went. i decided i haven't posted pictures in a while so i wanted do a post focusing on pictures!!! here ya are.......

madison had her 4th birthday party at charlie daniels park a few weeks ago...it was a really good time and a great atmosphere.

so we begged her. she finally conceded...but the look on her face says:
"im only smiling to make you guys happy so you'll shut up!"

a little before madisons birthday my preacher and his wife came to me and asked if there was anything in this world i wanted to do what would it be? i had no earthly idea what to answer!? they told me to think about it and get back to them. so i thought and i thought and i thought about it. i finally decided that i hadn't seen my grandparents in chattanooga in almost a year and i know my dad has been dying to see his parents. he talks to them all the time- but i knew it made him sad that we couldn't go down there. we just dont have cars that are "good enough" and we dont have the money to rent a car plus pay for gas. i told them that was what i decided to do...so they rented a car for my parents and i and we drove down to see nana and papa one hot but beautiful saturday. it was a great visit. papa seemed to be doing a lot better. and nana and aunt laura were doing great too. on the way down there we stopped at a rest stop and took pictures. {i forgot my camera in the car while we were at nanas the whole day-and didnt get one picture! i was so mad!}
we also took the girls to the lake after school a few weeks ago. we went to feed the ducks-but they were no where in sight. so we just threw rocks, sticks, and put our feet in the water.

as you can see we've been pretty busy the past month {thats why there was only two posts for august-and im sorry! there will be more pictures to come of wedding events and and festivities! Yay! for that!!!! anyway.... hope you enjoyed reading this post as much as much as i did writing it....
